Temples for Dr.Y.S Raja Shekar Reddy at Tirupati and Khammam
While the TUDA chairman Chevireddy Venkat Reddy has announced that he is constructing a grand temple for YSR in Tirupathi , the people in Mudigonda mandal in Khammam district have gone ahead and started the construction of a temple.
The temple is coming up in Vanamvarikistapuram village. The people in the village have commissioned 12 sculptors from Tiruvur in Krishna district to ready a 5.2 feet statue of YSR.
The temple is coming up in the main centre in the heart of the village. The villagers have collected two lakhs from the people to construct the temple. The temple will be like any other temple and the priest will offer daily puja and special pujas like archana and Asthothram will also be conducted every day.
The temple will come up on his private land. The temple will be built at a cost of 25 crore and a marble statue of YSR will be installed in the temple. The temple will also house a huge library that will have a wide collection of photos, articles and books on YS Rajashekar Reddy.
The chief whip Bhatti Vikramarka will formally open the temple for public.
