Fiat launches Linea T-Jet, T Jet Plus


With an eye on the festive season in India, Fiat India Friday launched two variants of its C plus flagship car Linea, the T-Jet and the T-Jet Plus. The T-Jet is priced at Rs.8.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
JSW crude steel production rises 8 percent in H1 FY11


India’s third largest steel maker JSW Steel Friday reported a 8 percent growth in crude steel production in the first half of fiscal 2010-11 compared to the corresponding period last fiscal. The company produced 3.14 million tonnes of crude steel in the first six months of the current fiscal. Production of flat rolled products for second quarter stood at 1.27 million tonnes and long rolled products were 0.26 million tonnes, the company said in a regulatory filing.
